Dear Families, Students, and Staff,

As we approach the final days of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments, joys, and memories we've shared throughout the past months. It has been a year filled with growth, learning, and connection, and I couldn’t be prouder of our students and the unwavering support from our families and staff.

Together, we've celebrated academic achievements, creative expressions, and personal milestones. Whether it was a wax museum I visited, a music performance, a field trip, or simply a moment of kindness in the hallway, each experience has helped make this a wonderful year.

As we transition into summer, I encourage all of our students to continue their learning journeys by making time for reading. A good book can take you anywhere—into new worlds, different times, and exciting adventures. Visit your local library to join the summer reading challenge, or simply enjoy reading together as a family. It’s one of the best ways to keep growing minds engaged and inspired!

Just as important as summer reading is time spent outdoors. My summer homework assignment  is to make sure you run, jump, explore, and play! Summer is the perfect season for making new friends, strengthening old ones, and learning through play and imagination. Unstructured playtime is not only fun—it’s essential to healthy development and well-being!

To our families, thank you for being our partners in education. Your involvement and encouragement are the foundation of our school’s success. To our teachers and staff, thank you for your unwavering dedication, creativity, and care. And to our students—you’ve worked hard, grown so much, and made us all proud. You deserve a joyful and restful summer! A special note to our graduating fourth graders: we are so proud of you! As you head off to middle school, remember to be brave, try new things, make new friends, and always give your best. You are ready for this next exciting chapter, and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
